RM CS-Reserve # 2

This is the grand-daddy of the Robert Mondavi group of seven. Unlike the other six which were done on the sides of wine cases, this version of the reserve label was done on a piece of pine almost three and half feet wide. This is my favorite of the Mondavi pieces. I chose this particular piece of pine so the knots in the wood could be incorporated into the mountains and for the grain in the wood that provided the type of texture I was
looking for in the sky. I also liked how the people turned out both in front of the arch and the three children under the arch.
